Middle school girls remain perfect
The middle school girls’ basketball team has won their fourth straight game in a strong 58-27 victory over rival Edgewood. The team has yet to lose a game and hasn’t won by less than 20 points throughout the season. Eighth grader and returning middle school player Jadasia N. is confident that the team will continue its success.
“I feel like we can go undefeated and make it to the championship,” Jadasia said. “Our drives and lay-ups have been strong and helped us in our winning streak. We have to work on boxing out and winning rebounds under the basket. My overall impression is that the team has a good chance of going undefeated as long as we keep playing amazing like we are.”
The team travels to Cocoa Beach on Thursday in an attempt to continue its winning streak. Girls tipoff at 5:30p.m.
