Wildcats Dominate Odyssey on Senior Night, 69–21, Ahead of District Play

On Senior Night, the varsity girls basketball team faced Odyssey Charter School at home in a conference match on Tuesday, January 28, coming off a 57-36 win over Edgewood. The Wildcats went into the match with a 12-5 record.

Before the game, senior center Emily Marshall and senior manager Evangeline Trazzera were celebrated with a walk alongside their friends and family to honor their contributions to the program.

The first quarter set the tone for the game for the Wildcats, putting up 25 points while only allowing two points.

The Wildcats carried this momentum into the second quarter, scoring 12 points and holding the Titans to nine points, sending the Wildcats into halftime with a 37-11 lead.

Marshall and junior Erynn Moffett continued to put on a show as the Cats racked up 21 more points while the Titans put up five points.

The Wildcats rounded out the fourth quarter with 11 more points to secure a 69-21 win over the Titans.

Marshall ended her Senior Night with 12 points, four rebounds and three assists, while Moffett scored 19.

The Wildcats currently have the No. 2 seed in the 2A District 6 tournament and will go on the road to face Satellite (13-7) on Jan. 29 at 6p.m. for their final regular season game.
