After winning all nine of their games this season, the Wildcat soccer girls lost their win streak in a game against Holy Trinity on Dec. 15, with a score of 1-2. So far, the girls’ overall record sits at 7-1-1. Their next game will be against Viera at 7:00 p.m. on Jan. 8, 2026.
As for the boys, their 4-0 win against Astronaut on Dec. 12 put their record at 5-5-1. In their next game, the team will face Sebastian River at 7:00 p.m. on Jan. 6, 2026.
After the homecoming game on Nov. 7, freshman Sergio Prieto, outside midfielder, celebrates his goal. “Before I scored, I got a feeling [that] something was going to happen,” Prieto said. “After I scored, I was super happy, and there was a lot of energy in the crowd.” At the end of the game, the Wildcats beat Melbourne Central Catholic High School (MCC) 3-1.
