On Monday, the Lady Wildcats faced the Cocoa Beach Tigers in the first round of districts.  The girls’ varsity soccer team blew Cocoa out of the water with a score of 8 to 0.  So far the girls’ varsity team stands at 12 wins, 1 loss, and 2 ties.

“We played well as a team and we got done what needed to get done,” senior Briana Basta said.

On Wednesday, the girls play in the semi-final round of districts against Edgewood.

“I’m nervous for the game tomorrow because I know that they are going to come out to win, but so are we,” Basta said.
