In preparation for launching his trebuchet Thursday, junior Amaefule Chukwunenye makes some last-minute adjustments. “The measurements and calculations are just really tight,” Chukwuneye said. “I had to make sure the string was at the correct measurement so that when I released it, it would be at a 45-degree angle.” In order to master the concept of projectiles the students built a model trebuchet for physics regular.
