Journalism students look through last year’s yearbook while discussing ideas for outgoing specialty spreads. “Specialty spreads are pages that basically don’t have the normal chronological stuff on it,” yearbook editor Gabrielle McKessey said. “It has stuff about fashion, social media; anything that our school is cultivating around. I like doing them because it’s different from what we usually do. There are more reporting opportunities for us than just basic chronologicals.” The students wanted to create a specialty spread centered around fashion or one on strange hobbies students of West Shore may have.
