Running for the JV girls’ cross country team, Marlee Krause (11) pushes herself to the finish line. The first meet of the season, held Aug. 25 at Holy Trinity, hosted more than 10 schools from all across Brevard County. “This was a longer race, a little more than a 5k. I kept a pretty good mile time for the most part.” Krause said. “The next race is going to be even more of an improvement.”
