Varsity Volleyball Blue vs. White Game

The Wildcat varsity volleyball team played an intersquad game in the gym. The girls did not hold back in any one game and gave it their all to challenge their fellow teammates to play to their full potential.

“We were hoping to get some in-game experience with an audience and get a feel for the starting lineup,”  senior Casey Schauman said.

This year’s team consisted of all returning players, except for new team member, Giao Huynn, a freshman new to West Shore.

“I played at the Tampa Bay Volleyball Academy and won the AAU and Junior Olympics for 14 Open,” Huynn said.

Hyunn added that if the team continues to work hard then they will go far. Schauman is hoping for the same.

“The team is looking really good, and I think we have the potential to do big things this year with the right attitude and work ethic,” Schauman said.

The team’s excitement and high hopes for the upcoming season make it look like a promising one.
