Lady Wildcats take down Eagles
November 17, 2015
The Lady Wildcats soccer team beat Astronaut High School Monday night, 11-0. Seven different ‘Cats scored; sophomore Elena Barr with three, eighth-graders Maci P. and Jonelle P. each tallied two, and seniors Marissa Cruz and Brittany Etrick, and sophomore Sydney Zamorano added one each.
“[The game] was good,” sophomore Fallon Klenotich said. “We won 11-0. I wouldn’t say they were bad, they’re just not as technically skilled as us. We connected our passes and communicated on the field. They ran the same plays every single time so we just knew exactly what they were gonna do. They maybe had one or two shots.”
The Lady ‘Cats next play Friday against Vero Beach. The game takes place at West Shore at 7 p.m.

"In 7th grade I had signed up for a [field trip to] Canada but it was canceled because COVID pushed it off so much, so when Mrs. Pietrzak brought up that they were doing a D-Day field trip to Europe, I thought that was really cool and I knew that I definitely wanted to do a trip while I was at West Shore so I took the opportunity," Amelia Bailly '25 said.](https://westshoreroar.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/edbc27cd-da37-43d3-9ac9-0f38a21bbe02-1200x675.jpg)
