Lady Wildcats continue undefeated district run
The West Shore girls’ volleyball team won in straight sets on Tuesday at Heritage High School.
Senior Casey Schauman attributes the victory to the team’s consistent play.
“We always try our best in any game, no matter what team we are playing,” Schauman said.
Freshman Giao Huynh said hard work and good team chemistry were the factors key to their victory.
“We all performed really well as a team, we had good defense and our offense really stepped it up,” Huynh said.
With the win, the Lady Wildcats improved their record to 17-2 and are now No.1 in the district.
The team next plays at Holy Trinity, freshman at 5:15 p.m., junior varsity at 6:15 p.m., varsity at 7:15 p.m on Thursday, October 9.
