A dog’s life
Fending off police dog Timber, officer Brian Delossantos demonstrates the canine’s training as part of Mary Kelly’s senior project. “I was trying to decide between the medical field and criminology, and I really love dogs,” Kelly said when asked why she chose this topic for her senior project. The presentation, given to seniors during homeroom, included demonstrations of the dogs heeling, sniffing out drugs and bringing down suspects.
