Chorus is preparing for its final concert of the year April 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium.
“I’m feeling good going into this concert,” chorus director Kristen Ross said. “I think it’s going to be a really fun time. I’m organizing a live band instead of using tracks, so I’m really in charge of two really big things: chorus and the live band.”
The theme for this concert is “British Invasion.”
“It was just a cool theme that was easy to plan,” Ross said. “It was a theme they did at my high school, but I was an eighth-grader, so I didn’t get to do it. It looked super-cool to me and I figured, ‘Why not start with that?’”
Freshman and chorus board member Damian Martin said he feels confident going into this concert.
“I feel great, and it’s going to be a great concert,” he said. “And it’s going to be fun.”
