Cats drop to 1-4 after loss to Titusville

In a one-sided affair, the boys’ varsity basketball team lost to Titusville 73-44 and dropped to 1-4 on the regular season.

Junior guard Stryker Sinclair led the Cats with 17 points and 5 steals. Other notable contributors included junior center Jake Dimond who had 7 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

Sinclair attributed their defeat to the Cats’ late game execution.

“We did well defensively but we need to do better executing on offense, especially when it comes down to the last few minutes of the game,” Sinclair said.

The Cats play their next game home against Cocoa Beach, hoping to improve their regular season record. The game will start on Friday at 7 p.m.
