Lady Wildcats trounce Holy Trinity
Senior Lydia Kline scored 19 points and junior Gillian Foster added 10 as the Lady Wildcats basketball team defeated Holy Trinity 48-31 in the West Shore gym Monday night.
Senior Kaitlin Inganna and sophomore Mary Billhartz had four steals each and Foster and Hana Bilicki contributed six rebounds apiece.
“It was really close at first, and I wasn’t sure how it was going to go,” Billhartz said. “Once we figured out their strategy and how their players worked together, we were able to gain a lead. They had shooters and we didn’t know them, and they were really fast.”
The Lady Wildcats next play Melbourne Central Catholic at home Thursday at 7 p.m.
