Girls’ soccer crushes Cocoa, looks forward to tough schedule
With a 9-0 score, the girls’ soccer team remain undefeated after their Friday night game against Cocoa. The game had initially been scheduled as a home game, but it was relocated to Satellite due to the Color Run.
“I [felt] confident and expect[ed] an easy win,” senior Brianna Basta said. “We have to focus on next weeks’ games. It will be a lot tougher schedule.”
On Nov. 20, the girls’ soccer team will face Vero Beach and on Nov. 22, they will play Space Coast.
“We need to come out strong all this week because Vero Beach will be our first tough match of the season,” Basta said.
