Wildcats take down the panthers in first game of the season.
November 29, 2017
In the Nov. 29 season opener, the boy’s varsity basketball team defeated the Heritage Panthers by a score of 54-49.
“We shot the ball really well and that’s what really made the difference for us,” junior Kyle Caudill said. “You know Heritage was a bigger team physically like most of the teams this year now that we are in the Cape Coast Conference. Just our shooting ability, being able to swing the ball in transition and playing gritty defense really made the difference for us.”
After starting the season off with a win, the boy’s varsity basketball team will be playing the Palm Bay Pirates on Nov. 29 at Palm Bay High School.
