House bill 1 threatens social media access for youth

Sponsored by Brevard’s own Tyler Sirois, house bill 1 plans to ban social media accounts held by people under 16. Junior Carter Newlin said the bill is “stupid” because he said he thinks “they won’t be able to enforce it like they’re able to.” If passed the bill would go into effect on July 1.
