Boys’ Lacrosse falls to Bulldogs in OT
February 19, 2016
In an high-scroing overtime thriller, the Melbourne Bulldogs edged out the Wildcats 12-11. Junior Tom Sherry of Melbourne had the game winning goal in extra time.
“We lost because we didn’t play as a team we played as individuals,” junior Kyle Fitzgerald said. “Tom Sherry had the game winning goal for them in overtime. It was a close game throughout the whole game but we just fell short in the end. I didn’t think a lot of players played well, Nick Moore had a good game but he was also hogging the ball.”
