November 3, 2016
Junior Elena Barr and freshman Maci Pekmezian each tallied a goal in the Wildcats season opening 3-2 loss Tuesday night. The Lady ‘Cats lost to Satellite 3-2 and beat Rockledge 8-1 in the preseason.
“We started off pretty strong,” junior Alexa Carlos said. “We scored the first goal but then we made two really dumb marking errors. After that we found our footing and scored another goal and tied up the game. It seemed like we were going to win, but in the last minute they had an opportunity and put it away.”
The girls play again tonight at Space Coast, with JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7 p.m.
