Girls open preseason play with a tie
October 23, 2015
The varsity girls’ soccer team tied Melbourne High School 0-0 in its first preseason game Tuesday. Junior goalkeeper Ann Marie Lally had 2 major saves during the game.
“I think our biggest challenge to overcome was the wind because we already had the skills,” Lally said. “But we played a good game despite the wind factor, and I’m really excited for this season and all it has to offer.”
The girls next play at home against Satellite High School on Thursday at 5 p.m.
