Boys swimming sinks Pirates, Brevard HEAT
September 28, 2016
In a three-team meet last Wednesday, the Wildcat boys’ swimming team took down Palm Bay Magnet High School and Brevard HEAT 112-57. Tate Lemstrom (11), Dylan Gornto (10), Dustin Heuser (10), and Benjamin Castillo (9) won the 200 meter Medley Relay, while Heuser also took home first place in the 100 meter freestyle.
“The competition was pretty tight,” Castillo said. “Brevard HEAT is good, and Palm Bay has this insanely good swimmer, but we were able to overtake him because we have all been practicing very hard this season. We have been undefeated so far this season in the [200m Medley Relay], so that’s definitely something we are looking forward to continuing tomorrow.”
The Wildcats take on Holy Trinity tomorrow evening at 4:30 p.m.
