A conference change has left varsity volleyball unfazed after the first two games of the season. Last Friday, the team defeated the Brevard Heat and Bayside High School in a season-opening jamboree, with both games ending in two sets.
“The jamboree went pretty well,” junior Samantha Intille said. “We got the results we expected, but we can always improve. We’ve been practicing for a good amount of time so I feel like we’re prepared for this week and the rest of the season.”
This week consists of three games on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. Monday’s game is at West Shore against Heritage, Wednesday at Holy Trinity, and Friday at Palm Bay.
