Middle school girls fall to Vipers

Despite Desiree S. (8) scoring 10 points, the Lady Wildcats lost 24-18 last night, to Space Coast. The girls move to 2-1 on the season, with seven games remaining. According to coach Derrick Hamilton the Wildcats were able to hold the Vipers to 24 points, despite them having been scoring towards of 60 points a game prior to Monday, because of a switch in defensive scheme from man-to-man to zone coverage.
The ‘Cats play host to Viera Charter tomorrow tonight, at 6:15 p.m.
