Girls’ soccer ties Edgewood 0-0
December 14, 2018
The girls’ JV soccer team played to a scoreless tie against Edgewood on Wednesday, resulting in the first blemish on its 8-0-1 season.
“We haven’t lost a game yet and I was upset we tied this one,” freshman Bria De La Hoz said. “It was a really close game, and we came close to scoring at the end. Last year we shutout Edgewood 6-0. It would have been really nice if we would have beaten them.”
Freshmen Hadley Plahuta said she wanted the win.
“We haven’t lost a game yet and Edgewood being the rival school a win would have been nice,” she said. ”There are only a few games left. A game on Friday and a few after Christmas break so we gotta make the best of it”
The girls next will take on Cocoa in an away game at 5:30 p.m. today.
