Girls’ soccer fall to Indians
November 23, 2015
The Wildcat girls’ soccer team fell to Vero Beach Friday, 4-1. The loss marks the first of the season for the Lady ‘Cats, whose record sits at 5-1-1. Scoring for the Wildcats was sophomore Elena Barr.
“It wasn’t our best game,” freshman Avery Kloeppel said. “I think we could have done better. The midfield needed to work better together and Vero Beach is a good team. They have multiple seniors, and they’re going to lose a lot of players for next year. [We lost] for a variety of reasons. I wasn’t there the whole game because I got hurt.”
The Lady Wildcats next play at home on Dec 3, against Palm Bay Magnet High School. The game starts at 7 p.m.
