Boys’ tennis bounced by Bulldogs
February 26, 2016
The boys’ tennis team fell to Melbourne High School 7-0 Thursday night. Sophomore Phi Duong was edged out by Bulldog Cole Turner 10-8 in the third set.
“We didn’t fair well against Mel,” senior Evan Cooper said. “They clearly had the experience and talent on us, and we are just too young to compete with some of the better schools. We have not been bad this year, our record is 3-4. Phi played well against that Cole kid, but none of us got the job done.”
The ‘Cats next play Monday at Covenant Christian, beginning at 4 p.m.
