Slam Poetry Club plans for Year 2
May 11, 2023
The Slam Poetry Club has announced plans to continuing into its second year — with some changes.
“I will be, hopefully, getting the ‘Get Lit!’ curriculum for the club so everything can be planned out a lot easier,” freshman Sophia Fetouh said.
Members of the Slam Poetry club say they are anticipating big things.
“I’m super-excited for anything happening next year, and this year was a great trial run,” freshman Hannah Jones said. “Hopefully, next year will be better than this year ever was.”
Language Arts teacher Kimberly Walling will continue to sponsor the club.
“Ms. Walling is a wonderful sponsor and I couldn’t ask for anyone else,” Fetouh said.
Freshman Elena Konicki said she hopes the club communicates better next year.
“I have no clue how many meetings I missed because the Google Classroom was underutilized,” she said.
