Seniors vote on class superlatives
December 6, 2017
The Senior Class has decided on its superlative categories and all seniors will be voting for candidates online Wednesday. In a new twist, seniors also will vote on superlatives for their teachers.
“[The superlatives] were chosen by first creating a general list of 18 superlatives,” Senior Class President Zachary Zaroogian said. “The entire class was invited to participate in a meeting where they were finalized.”
It the first round of voting on Wednesday, seniors will nominate candidates for each category and the final vote between candidates will take place soon after.
“I think the superlatives could be better categories, but I appreciate how hard the yearbook people and class officers are working to make this one great and to include so many different people from the senior class,” senior Sarah Edmiston said.
Edmiston said she’s enjoying the addition of the teacher superlatives.
“When we look back on this yearbook in 20 or 30 years it’ll be cool to see those teachers and remember what made them unique,” Edmiston said.
