To celebrate the cooler weather, the Latin Club has begun selling ice cream and sodas after school each Wednesday beginning at 2:15 p.m.
“In two weeks we’ve made a grand total of $142 selling $3 sundaes, $2 root-beer floats, and $1 sodas,” club Treasurer Arianna Issitt said.
Club President Rhys Sheker said said the revenue will come in handy.
“With the money we raise, we will pay for the Latin students who can’t afford to attend the regional and even state forums,” he said.
