Senior Catrina Carl and junior Kate Burgess are excited for their District 3A Regional Quarterfinal match against St. John Paul II Academy (9-4-1) in Boca Raton tonight.

“I expect a good game and will be very sad,” Carl Said. “Obviously we have prepared long and hard, putting 100 percent effort in at every practice staying late at some practices to put in extra work.”

This appearance marks the fourth consecutive year the Lady Wildcats (11-6) have advanced to the regional quarterfinal.

“To be honest I have my worries and my fear that we could lose if we do not show up, especially since we are going into this game as underdogs,” Burgess said.

The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
