Junior Cole Ratkus scored two goals and senior Brock Ehmer and junior Christian Graham each added another to lead the boys’ varsity soccer team to a 4-2 victory over Bayside on Thursday. Ehmer and Graham also added assists.

“It was a good game,” Ratkus said, “We started off hot. with three goals in the first half, and they had zero.”

Bayside scored 2 goals in the second half, slowly catching up to the Wildcats.

“We stayed composed and continued to play hard,” Ratkus said. “It paid off with a win.”

The Wildcats next play host to Rockledge tonight at 7.

“I am not very nervous for the game,” freshman Max Carl said. “We beat them last year 3-1, and we have improved from last year. I am also very confident in our team’s ability to perform very well against any team.”
