Boys’ Golf Places 7th at Cape Coast Conference
October 10, 2021
Junior Rylan Runske shot a 50, and freshman Austin Addington shot a 47 and boys’ varsity golf team placed seventh at the Cape Coast Conference on Oct. 7. The team only had two players attend the match.
“I just went out there had fun and did my thing,” said Runske, the team captain.
Runske said they did well after losing so many good players from last year.
“We lost a decent amount of seniors, and our best player moved schools,” he said.
Winding up his second year on the team, Runske has seen growth.
“Next year I am expecting to do a lot better because we have a young team and next year we will be a lot more experienced which will help us perform better,” Runske said. “But I am extremely pleased with our performance this year as a team.”
