Theater program prepares for killer play

The school’s theater department will present the play “Where There’s a Will There’s a Murder” Saturday with one show at 2 p.m. and one at 7 p.m. The play is a murder mystery that takes places in the 1950s. A group of people who don’t know they’re related are sent to a house where they can be rewarded a million dollars, when all of a sudden people start dying and they don’t know who’s responsible.

“I’m really excited about the play we have a great cast, and I think the concept of the play is really fun,” senior Catherine Tenbusch said.

Tenbusch plays Molly Henshaw, the maid, and senior Gianni Valenti plays Niles Henshaw, the butler.

“My best friend Catherine plays Molly so we’re able to have a lot of fun playing off each other,” Valenti said. “For example we have to fight and bicker a lot so we’re really getting in to it and it’s a lot of fun.”

The play is intended to incorporate audience participation and will have actors and actresses in the audience to create a dinner-theater vibe.

“I’m most excited about the audience participation and I think the actors involved are going to do a phenomenal job adding to the show,” Valenti said.
