JV volleyball falls to Holy Trinity

The Lady Wildcats junior-varsity volleyball team faced off with Holy Trinity’s Lady Tigers on Thursday and lost in the first and third set 2-1.

Junior Gracie Parish didn’t see the game as a terrible defeat.

“We were off on the first set, but we picked it back up for the second set,” Parish said. “We were the first team to take them to a third set, so it wasn’t all bad”

Sophomore Brianna Joyner said she saw a factor contributing to the team’s loss.

“We could have talked more,” Joyner said. “We came back, but didn’t have enough communication to win the final set.”

The Cats’ will face the Brevard Heat on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
