The boys’ track season came to an end for sophomores Jude Richardson and Chris Estevez after they placed 15th at the Cape Coast Conference Qualifiers at Astronaut High School on April 19.
“Everyone worked as hard as they could, but the other schools were just faster,” Estevez said. “There were also 17 different schools instead of the usual five to ten.”
They were able to score 6 total points, meaning that they did not qualify for Districts.
“It really sucks that we aren’t able to go to Districts,” Richardson said. “But we all worked really hard, and I think it was a great season.”
