The girls’ lacrosse team’s first game of the season was Feb. 21 against Satellite High School. Satellite won 11–9.
“For the first game, I was super impressed,” junior Cameron Coalter said. “We came out hot and put in our best effort in all four quarters.”
Freshman Luna Stieber said she believes they will continue to get better as they get to know their teammates.
“We will improve by learning how to play together as a team,” Stieber said. “I think just by practicing in more game situations, we should be better off for the next game.”
The next game is scheduled for Feb. 26 at Edgewood at 5:30 p.m.
“We plan to improve by watching films from the game and working on our offensive plays,” Coalter said.
