Middle school Fall Ball approaches

The middle-school “Fall Ball” dance is scheduled for  Oct. 25 from 6:30-9:30 in the Cafeteria. The dance will be the first of the year for middle-schoolers and the first ever for seventh graders.

Middle school SGA President Rachel M. is hopeful that the new seventh graders will have a pleasant experience.

“For the seventh graders it’s their first dance, so we want to make it one we can remember,” Rachel said.

As an attempt to combat complaints about the DJ last year, officers have been putting in extra time to provide the best possible product.

“Our DJ wasn’t that great last year. He wouldn’t even take requests,” Rachel said. “This year I hope it is better.”

Treasurer Kenzie S. is grateful for the effort middle school government put in to make the dance possible.

“Every Friday morning we meet for 45 minutes,” Kenzie said. “We’ve also scheduled extra meetings, so we’ve really been trying.”

Seventh grader Iksha H. is excited for her first dance.

“I feel like it’s going to be good,” Iksha said. “It’s my first dance so I don’t know what to expect, but I’m excited for the theme. October is cool with the fall theme so I’ll like it.”

Tickets will being sold for $6 during the week of October 21 through October 25.
