Lacrosse fundraiser brings in dough

The girls’ and boys’ lacrosse teams recently completed a fundraiser, selling  213 tubs of Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough and earning a $1,378.20 for the program. The cookie dough will be delivered to the players today after school in the cafeteria.

“We needed some type of fundraiser to help our program out,” freshman Grace Otten said. “Our program doesn’t have a lot of money to work with, and to do a cookie dough sale was a great idea. It brought in much-needed money.”

For two weeks, both lacrosse teams worked to sell cookie dough tubs.

“Not only did I get to sell to my neighbors and friends, but to myself ”, sophomore Ilana Krause said. “It’s a yummy treat to have on hand.”
