The U-16 girls Space Coast United soccer team held its first scrimmage games this Saturday and Sunday at the recreational fields in Viera. Some girls were unable to make the games because they will be participating in the Olympic Development Program tryouts which were taking place at the same time in Merritt Island.
“We should not have scheduled important scrimmages for State Cup the same weekend as something else that is very important, ODP tryouts,” sophomore Erin Berube said.
