The Harry Potter Club is ready to resume its meetings on Mondays in Room 4-101, watching the movies, discussing topics of characters and other aspects of the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

“The students are extremely excited to once again meet and have a good time,” club sponsor Maggie Molledo said.

The first meeting will consist of trivia and games according to Molledo.

“This will surely get the students right back into the swing of things and hopefully we can recruit more student to join the club,” Molledo said.

The Harry Potter Club is open to all students, regardless of the grade. To join, send Molledo an email at [email protected], or stop by her classroom during Power Hour.

The leaders of the club decided that playing one of the movies during the club will in a way transport the group to the Halls of Hogwarts.  As always students are encouraged to dress the part and come as their favorite character and represent one of the four houses: Gryffindor, (values courage, bravery, nerve, and chivalry), Hufflepuff, (values hard work, patience, justice, and loyalty), Ravenclaw, (values intelligence, creativity, learning), and Slytherin, (values ambition, cunning, leadership, and resourcefulness).

Molledo said she hopes to see every member attend and to start the new year off with an impressive attendance.
