The boys’ and girls’ bowling teams lost both to Melbourne High School and Merritt Island High School at Harbour Lanes on Oct. 13 and Oct 18 respectively.

“The boys two losses were to teams we should have beat, and I was disappointed in how the boys bowled,” Coach Kirk Murphy said. “We went from a good record of 7-4 to a 7-7.”

The boys lost to 5-2 to Melbourne High and 6-1 against Merritt Island. The girls lost 6-1 against Melbourne High and 4-3 against Merritt Island.

“They were all tough losses,” senior Brandon Toothaker said. “We were down in both of them, and it came down to the last game and we just let the pressure to get to us.”
