For the first time in West Shore several years, seniors will be allowed to paint their own parking spaces for the price of $10. Painting the parking spaces will take place on Sept. 9 and Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants must provide their own paint. The Senior Class — which will receive all profits from the fund-raiser — had to submit a proposal and have a meeting with the administration defending its rationale.
“It is a privilege for us seniors, and is a good class-bonding activity.” Senior Class President Diana Sheedy said.
Senior Sarah Day said she’s excited to be able to have her own designated spot .
“It is a really good idea that the Senior Class had because most other schools in our county do the same thing already,” she said.
