Final exam preparations begin

With the school year coming to a close, stress levels rise as students begin preparing for final exams.

“Cramming a semester’s worth of information in is difficult, but the exam reviews assigned by my teachers are helpful, and I’ve been reviewing my notes,” sophomore Abby Kawa said.

In addition to next week’s finals, Advanced Placement testing has taken place for the past two weeks, placing many students under even more pressure.

“It’s really hard to study for AP tests and finals at the same time,” freshman Ben Mechachonis said. “It has put a lot of stress on me, and I just really want the year to be over.”

As some students busily drill information into their brains, sophomore Jack Dickens takes an alternative approach.

“I’m just going to do the mandatory reviews, studying has never really been a priority for me, it just adds unnecessary stress,” he said.

Final exams begin next week, with seventh-period exams Tuesday.
