The boy’s lacrosse team beat Cocoa Beach 11-3 Wednesday night.

Sophomore Max Carl said that it was a good fight.

“Our two teams were well-matched up, but at the end of the day, we just out played them and played with more energy,” Carl said.

Carl said t the early goals helped the Wildcats throughout the game.

“Our big lead at the first half made the win much easier for us because it was 8-1 at half, it gave us a lot of reassurance,” Carl said. “Our defense really limited them to three goals to give us the big win.”

Senior Zach Johnson had three goals and a few assists.

“We still have things to work on before districts start but overall, the team is looking really good to make it to the championship,”  Johnson said.

The boys have their senior night on Tuesday at West Shore where they take on Rockledge at 6 p.m.
