Providing an insight into his own spirituality, Chris Wong, a senior, performs the song “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” in his AP Literature class as a facet of the assigned summer project. “It describes my spirituality because the song is really peaceful,” Wong said before he began playing. Ms. Nelson allows the students to perform as a way to describe themselves and show the whole class some of their talents and engage the class more than just stark reading and writing.
