Like many other students, senior Nora McSorely opted to do her homework instead of physical activity during sixth period gym class because of the early release day. “I like short days because I work on Wednesdays so I have more time to do homework,” McSorely said. The regularly scheduled early release Wednesdays will allow teachers and administrators to receive professional development and collaborate in order to support student learning.
