High-school track tryouts have been scheduled for Tuesday after school.

“You must have a completed athletic eligibility packet, these can be found in the front office or online,” Coach Tony Riopelle said.”This includes the ECG screening form and the physical from your doctor.”

Last year, some students were not able to attend practice because of participation in other sports, But this year, athletes will need to compete for spots on the team.

“The top two-to-four in each event will represent West Shore,” Coach Jamie Fain said. “There will also be spots for relays. More spots may be available in the 1 and 2 mile in some meets.”
