Matchomatics results sold Feb. 12

Students were able to purchase their Matchomatics results for $5 on Feb. 12 in the pavilion. The Matchomatics take student responses to a survey and determine who they would be most compatible with as friends based on the responses.

“Matchomatics is a fun event that we do at West Shore, and it can be interesting for students to see who they’re compatible with,” freshman Ella Bendall said.

Matchomatics is an annual fundraiser held by the junior class that many students look forward to when February rolls around, according to Bendall.

“I think Matchomatics should continue annually,” Bendall said. “It has become a tradition at West Shore.”

Freshman Reagan Hill said she enjoys the fundraiser.

“I believe Matchomatics is a great way to possibly make new connections, and it’s also very beneficial to the junior class,” Hill said.

Hill said the results can be shocking.

“When I got my results, I thought it was pretty funny because I would’ve never thought I’d be compatible with some of the people,” Hill said.

However, some students decide not to purchase the results.

“I didn’t get my results this year, but I thought it was fun to see whose list I was on and talk to other people about theirs,” Bendall said.
