14th Annual Art Student’s Juried Exhibition presented by the Strawbridge Art League
Sweat dripping down the anticipated faces of young artists. This is the fourteenth annual Art Student’s Juried Exhibition presented by the Strawbridge Art League. The exhibition will take place at the SAL Gallery 2011 Melbourne Court in Downtown Melbourne on March 8 – March 14.
The pieces being entered will be collected March 7 from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the 2011 Melbourne Court. Students from grades 4-12 are eligible to enter. Students must complete an application form and can submit up to two entries at an entry fee of $5 for both.
Art teacher James Finch said that the show is very exclusive and usually only a couple students are selected to be in it. He also said that the judges will come up to the pieces and if they do not want it in the show they will say thank you and dismiss the artist. He explained that it’s a tough show.
