NFL Fantasy: Is Week 11 the worst in fantasy history?

The shocking fantasy statistics from Week 11 have many players questioning their rosters. The poor performance from almost every team in the NFL has forced many trades throughout student leagues. In addition, bye-week teams, including the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers contained important players for fantasy leagues. Levi Loveridge had an upset and experienced a few unsuccessful trades this week.

“My fantasy team did not show up this week due to the Miami Dolphins experiencing a bye and I play many of those players every week. A lot of my starters were in low scoring and boring games and got me low points,” freshman Levi Loveridge said.

With the heavy winds and six feet of snow in Buffalo, Loveridge’s team was also affected by the weather.

“I recently traded for Josh Allen, one of the best quarterbacks in the league currently,” Loveridge said. “But due to the weather, Allen had his worst game of the season, scoring only 12 fantasy points.”

The weather and bye schedule had a huge impact on Rushil Shaw’s fantasy lineup.

“This week was really bad for my fantasy team because three of my starters were on bye weeks and I had to play a bunch of casuals,” he said.

Shaw’s lineup had no impressive scores and he also blamed the weather.

“Majority of the games were low-scoring because of the wind in numerous cities which impacted most players’ fantasy performances,” he said.
